Author Visit: Professor of History Dick Harrison

Dick Harrison gives a lecture about his latest book, “Forbidden to Read.” We welcome professor of history and author Dick Harrison to Husiebiblioteket. With more than a hundred books on Swedish and international history to his name, he is now doing something new: in the deeply personal account *Forbidden to Read: My Journey of Education and the Fight Against Ignorance*, he takes us back to a difficult childhood in 1970s Staffanstorp, where reading and culture were strictly forbidden. Come and listen to Dick Harrison make the case for the importance and joy of learning and reading. Photo: Hans Jonsson.
