VALO – Tapiola Choir Christmas 2026

Tapiola Choir’s VALO is a Christmas concert that has delighted audiences for over 10 years, filled with high-quality art music performed by children and young people. VALO brings a glimmer of Christmas light and warmth to the darkest time of the year. In December 2026, actor and singer Maria Ylipää, one of Finland’s most prominent artists, will join Tapiola Choir’s VALO concerts as soloist. She is known for her many roles in musical theatre, film and television. As a musician, she stands out as an interpreter equally at home on stage as a soloist with jazz groups, big bands and symphony orchestras. Accordion artist Niko Kumpuvaara will also perform at the concert with Maria Ylipää.
