❄️🐻‍❄️ North Pole Sensory Play ⛄ Get ready for an exciting Arctic adventure this winter! Our themed sensory play session is designed as a hands-on, engaging experience for children aged 6 months to 5 years, to spark curiosity and keep little hands busy! As far as possible, everything is taste-safe and edible, although some dry materials (such as rice) are placed up high and require constant 👀 supervision around babies who tend to put things in their mouths! (Let them explore, but please guide them so they do not swallow the dry rice.)

What to expect
Our session offers a fun selection of activities, combining dry sensory materials and experiences that create the perfect invitation to play. Things may get a little messy, but that is all part of the fun!

🐻‍❄️ Winter Wonderland: Our famous scooping and pouring station, featuring an ice castle and Magnatiles magnetic tiles, as well as polar animals to discover. Expect pom-pom snowballs too!
⛄ Let’s Build a Snowman: Our cloud dough is always fluffy and lovely to play with.
❄ Penguin Iceberg: Funny penguins are hidden in our igloo to encourage imaginative play.
☕ Hot Cocoa: A pretend-play station for making warm (play) cocoa.
🥶 Winter Playdough: A themed creative station with play mats, special tools, rollers and moulds.
❄ Polar Animals and Their Dens: A special discovery area.
⛺ Sensory Tent: Rest in our cosy themed tent, with a projector, a themed book, sensory bottles and toys.
✨ We always add surprises and extra activities to our sessions, so come and discover them for yourself!

Important information
Location: Kultuurikeskus Kaja, side entrance. Someone wearing a T-shirt with a logo will show you the way if needed.

Parents: This is a child-led space! Sit on the floor, follow your child’s lead and enjoy the experience together. We do not charge extra for more than one parent to attend, because we love seeing children enjoy the session even more when both parents can come together!

What to bring: A complete set of extra-comfortable change of clothes and spare socks for BOTH adults and children. Wear comfortable clothes you don’t mind getting dirty, as we will be sitting on the floor!

Cleanliness and safety: Warm water, wet wipes and a towel are available on site for cleaning up. The main goal is spending time together and having fun—we’ll take care of the mess afterwards! Please supervise your child to prevent them from putting items in their mouth. We also ask that you avoid mixing items from different stations.

Reminders
Shoes: Please take off your shoes before entering the play area—it is a shoe-free space. You can leave coats and shoes just outside the room door, but you may bring backpacks inside.

Snacks: Snacks and refreshments must be eaten outside the room. Please wash your child’s hands thoroughly after eating to protect participants with serious allergies (especially milk protein allergy), as otherwise the play surfaces could become contaminated.

Illness: If your child is ill (contagious illnesses such as flu/viruses or chickenpox are not permitted because they are highly contagious), we kindly ask you to stay home. To maintain a healthy environment, we reserve the right to ask you to come and play on another day.

Photos: Taking photos is welcome! Tag us on social media, but please be considerate when posting pictures and protect the privacy of other children by covering their faces.

## Booking and contact ##
Full prepayment is required to secure your place. If all places are taken, contact us via Instagram DM to ask about the possibility of joining the waiting list. If cancelling, please give at least 48 hours’ notice. In case of illness, contact Liara at liaravalle@hotmail.com to arrange a free replacement session on another occasion or transfer your place to a friend. Please tell us about your child’s allergies at least one week in advance.

Bring a little cash for our handmade products (such as playdough and mini-pot sets). Some items cost just 5 euros, so feel free to browse our mini shop.
