I Want to Believe

For the first time at Von Krahl: the world-famous, boundary-shaking TV series “I Want to Believe.” Triin Ruumet’s “I Want to Believe” portrays a reality dating show in all its passionate spectacle—lights, cameras, confession chairs. One date replaces another, and each new young man outdoes the last. But when the fireworks of the television world no longer satisfy, the lives being lived on the show begin to take on dimensions no one expected. The participants face a choice: continue performing a staged reality for the viewers’ enjoyment, or find the courage to face themselves.
