Pärnu Museum – Pärnu’s story begins here

Pärnu Museum welcomes visitors! The museum’s new permanent exhibition, “Madonna and the Key. Manifesto and Bathing Cart,” takes visitors on a colourful journey through history, telling four unique stories about the region. Discover Pärnu’s past up close and firsthand in the permanent exhibition halls: “The Source of Our Story,” “The Story of Two Cities,” “The Birth of the Nation State,” and “Pärnu, Summer Capital.” A cosy children’s room and delightful book characters—Nuuskur and Raimond the Herring—make for an enjoyable visit for the whole family as they introduce visitors to the treasures of history while exploring the exhibition. The new open storage area showcases objects from the museum collection that visitors do not normally get to see.
