Find out what the national defence sector purchases from businesses in Järvamaa and how to take part in procurement. Event duration: approx. 4 hours.
Defending Järvamaa is the responsibility of its people. This involves not only direct action, but also providing and supporting a range of services. So that we can communicate with one another and clearly express our needs in different situations, both in peacetime and during a crisis, we invite you to a joint information day. We will explain what services or support we need, so that you, as businesses, can offer them. To ensure that everything takes place within the proper framework, RKIK has been invited. It conducts both large procurements and smaller purchases.
What services does Kaitseliit and Järva Malev use? The head of logistics of Kaitseliit and the commander of Järva Malev will outline the services already in use, the services needed for national defence in Järvamaa today, and those needed in a crisis.
Which businesses is this intended for? The information day is for all businesses, as national defence needs a range of services in its day-to-day work, from catering, vehicle repair and property maintenance to construction and transport. With our new capabilities, electronics and aircraft repair, as well as other IT-related activities, are also becoming necessary. Businesses in Järvamaa can already contribute to national defence through a variety of services they are able to provide.
How can you contribute to national defence? To explain exactly how the process works in different circumstances, RKIK specialists will join us to outline what services are purchased, how they are purchased, and what you need to do to offer products or services through your business. In short, all businesses in Järvamaa can offer services and participate in various tenders and purchases. By working together, we can make Järvamaa more resilient to crises and contribute to the community in different ways.
