SPEKTRAS | FESTIVAL “NAUJAS APLANKAS (4)”

Director Justas Tertelis, the actors and the entire creative team invite audiences to explore the unique worlds of neurodivergent people and see neurotypical people from a different perspective—broadening their vision and rethinking the boundaries of normality. In the performance “Spektras,” we will experience a whole range of stories that help dissolve stereotypes about autistic people and deepen our understanding of the world around us. The performance is based on the book “Autizmas – dalis manęs” by Jurgita Žalgirytė-Skurdenienė and Barbora Suisse. The book probably presents, for the first time in Lithuania, the stories of autistic adults, offering a better understanding of the everyday lives of people living with autism spectrum disorder—the challenges they face and ways to overcome them.
