Arcis Saxophone Quartet

Formed in Munich, the Arcis Saxophone Quartet belongs to a new generation of chamber ensembles that combines the classical concert tradition with new ideas for the stage. The four musicians focus not only on musical interpretation but also on the overall concept of each concert, from putting together the programme to its presentation on stage. Through carefully crafted performances, unexpected repertoire choices and active international work, the quartet is now one of Europe’s most notable ensembles. In the programme “Chronicles of Nightclubs,” the performers turn to music imbued with the rhythm of the city and different cultures
