The 2026/2027 season concludes with a concert where memory, myth and masterpieces meet. Led by Anja Bilhmaier, the Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra begins with Olly Wilson’s *Shango Memory*—a pulsing and spiritual piece that honours Shango, the Yoruba god of thunder. Then four of the orchestra’s own horn soloists take the stage for Schumann’s jubilant Concert Piece for Four Horns, which brings together Romantic warmth and impressive virtuosity. The concert concludes with Brahms’s Piano Quartet in G minor in Arnold Schönberg’s vivid orchestration, where chamber-music intensity is raised to symphonic heights. A musical journey in which tradition, spirituality and orchestral strength come together.
