Almakvartetten invites you to a chamber concert featuring exciting new music by composers Maria Lithell Flyg, Karen Tanaka and Jan W Morthenson. Maria Lithell Flyg has written a new piece for soprano and string quartet, as well as a clarinet quintet. We will also hear Karen Tanaka’s string quartet Metal Strings and Ancora (1983), a much-discussed and acclaimed string quartet by composer and visual artist Jan W Morthenson, a work that is rarely performed in Sweden.
