Tove Jansson: The Fir Tree

A delightful puppet show for the whole family! The Moomins are sleeping peacefully through the winter as snow covers Moominvalley. Soon, however, the peace is over, because something terrible is coming. Something that needs to be fed, given presents, and all sorts of other things. That something is called “Christmas”… Suddenly, everyone is in a terrible hurry. This wintertime story in Moominvalley reminds us of important basics: being together, the importance of sharing, and the joy of giving. As the stars appear in the sky, who will gather around the decorated Christmas tree?
