Lunch talk with Poste Restante and Majula Drammeh. How do we welcome visitors into an immersive, participatory performance, and what does it mean to host in unusual and unexpected environments? On selected Thursdays, we hold lunch talks at Malmö Art Museum in Kungsparken. The programme reflects our development work with the site and ongoing processes. This lunch talk is in English, but questions and thoughts can always be shared in Swedish. Bring whatever you would like to eat and settle in for a moment of inspiration and conversation.
Guests
Poste Restante is a critically acclaimed performance company founded in 2007 by artistic directors Linn Hilda Lamberg and Stefan Åkesson. They have developed an artistic practice that combines site-specific participatory formats with performative exploration. The artistic event is regarded as a “state of exception” alongside everyday life—a space where audiences can withdraw to engage with feelings and thoughts that are not usually given time or space. In Poste Restante’s productions, the visitor is the unpredictable protagonist and final interpreter of the work. Poste Restante presents WUTHERING, WUTHERING HEIGHTS at Inkonst in Malmö, 11–17 November 2026.
Majula Drammeh is an interdisciplinary practitioner, dancer and artist based in Stockholm, with Gambian and Finnish heritage. Their practice moves between choreography, improvisation and participatory formats, with a particular interest in interactivity and how performance can create space for encounters and shared experiences. Through the body, they explore questions of presence, vulnerability, social norms, politically charged bodies and the conditions of being human today. They often work in international and interdisciplinary collaborations and have a long-standing artistic collaboration with Poste-Restante, appearing as a performer in several of the group’s works. Other collaborations include visual artist Luca Lee Frei, based in Sweden, and artist Joseph K. Kasau Wa Mambwe from Congo.
Host
Elena Anna is a Swiss artist who lives and works between Malmö and Copenhagen. Both in her solo artistic work and as part of the duo Last Oblivion, her practice lies at the intersection of visual art and performative spaces, with a particular focus on immersive spatial experiences. Blurring the boundary between reality and fiction, she uses narrative and material-based formats to explore themes such as social interaction, human relationships, and the need for rituals and transitions. Elena Anna is currently developing a site-specific performance work in Kungsparken as part of her master’s project at Malmö Theatre Academy. The work premieres in March 2027.
