Clayface

DC Studios’ “Clayface” is a horror thriller directed by James Watkins, starring Tom Rhys Harries as the eponymous Gotham City villain. “Clayface” tells the story of a man on his way to becoming a Hollywood star who turns into a vengeful monster. This terrifying story explores the loss of identity, humanity, toxic love, and the dark side of scientists’ ambitions. The film also stars Naomi Ackie, David Dencik, Max Minghella, Eddie Marsan, Nancy Carroll, and Joshua James. The screenplay for the film, directed by James Watkins, was written by Mike Flanagan and Hossein Amini and is based on a story by Mike Flanagan featuring DC characters. The producers are Matt Reeves, Lynn Harris, James Gunn, and Peter Safran; the executive producers are Michael E. Uslan, Rafi Crohn, Paul Ritchie, Chantal Nong Vo, and Lars P. Winther. Watkins’ crew included cinematographer Rob Hardy, production designer James Price, editor Jon Harris, visual effects supervisor Angus Bickerton, costume designer Keith Madden, and casting director Lucy Bevan.
