Arsis Christmas Concert “Silver Christmas Rhapsody”

Every year, as Christmas approaches, the Arsis Christmas concerts return! For many music lovers, as for the Arsis ensembles, the sound of handbells brings that true and authentic Christmas feeling. Come and enjoy our festive music! The Arsis Christmas concert tradition began in 1993. Arsis conductor Aivar Mäe says: “Our Christmas concert tradition has such a long history that we can no longer imagine the holiday season without handbell music. Our audiences in the places we return to perform have said the same: traditions should be cherished.” The programme, “Silver Christmas Rhapsody,” weaves together well-known classical music and much-loved Christmas pop melodies. It also features pieces from Arsis’s newly released vinyl record, which will be available to buy at the concert. Performing are the Arsis bell ensembles, conducted by Aivar Mäe. Tickets are available from Piletilevi and at the venue before the concert.
