Christmas Evening in the Archipelago

Food & music from the heart of Furholmen’s boathouse. The wind howls, rain lashes down or snow swirls over the skerries… But inside Furholmen’s doors, warmth, light and the scents of Christmas await. The evening begins on board, where you’ll be offered mulled wine and gingerbread during the boat trip. At Furholmen, torches light the way to the restaurant. Outside, the archipelago lies in winter darkness; inside, the scents of Christmas and a laid table await. The North Bohuslän Christmas buffet features more than 40 kinds of herring and mackerel, prepared using the restaurant’s own recipes, alongside classics such as Christmas ham, pâtés and sausages. Hot dishes include Jansson’s temptation, meatballs, lutefisk and ribs. Finish with something sweet—perhaps rice à la Malta, Swedish cheesecake or homemade baking. Live music provides the evening’s entertainment, with different artists each weekend.
