Christmas Evening in the Archipelago

Food & music from the heart at Furholmen’s boathouse. The wind howls, rain lashes down or snow swirls over the skerries… But inside Furholmen’s doors, warmth, light and the scents of Christmas await. The evening begins aboard the boat, where you are offered glögg and gingerbread during the trip. At Furholmen, lanterns light the way to the restaurant. Outside, the archipelago lies in winter darkness; inside, the scents of Christmas and a laid table await. The North Bohuslän Christmas buffet features more than 40 varieties of herring and mackerel, prepared using house recipes, alongside classics such as Christmas ham, pâtés and sausages. The hot dishes include Jansson’s temptation, meatballs, lutefisk and ribs. Finish with something sweet—perhaps rice à la Malta, cheesecake or homemade baking. Live music provides the evening’s entertainment, with different performers each weekend.

11–12 December: Malin and the Old Man Band—blues, rock ’n’ roll and progg.
