Christmas Buffet at Carlstens Fortress

Experience the flavours of Christmas in a historic fortress setting. Enjoy an atmospheric Christmas buffet at Carlstens Fortress, where the evening begins with a group torchlight procession from the ferry terminal on Marstrandsön up to the fortress, weather permitting. In the historic setting, a large Christmas buffet awaits in Riddarsalen. At Kungsporten, the officer on duty, dressed in a Carolean uniform, tells the story of Carlstens Fortress. Along the way, there is a stop for mulled wine and gingerbread before the group continues up to Riddarsalen. Marstrand’s largest Christmas buffet is laid out in the historic hall, inspired by the waters of Västerhavet and featuring several vegetarian options.

Music and dancing on Fridays and Saturdays
After dinner on Fridays and Saturdays, the evening continues in Batterivåningen, where the bar opens and there is music and dancing.
