After the success this spring, they’re back again. We’re so incredibly happy to welcome Fredde & Tessan from Slowbugg Rhythm back to us this autumn, following the success of the spring event! The course fee includes a two-day dance course focused on development, refreshments, fruit, sweets, and coffee/tea. There is space to store your own cold lunch (lunch is NOT included in the course price). Bring your own lunch; there is one microwave, so we recommend bringing food that can be eaten cold.

We’ll rotate partners throughout the course, so everyone dances with everyone. Pair registrations have priority. We aim for an even balance of leaders and followers; if too many people register for one role, you’ll be put on a waiting list until you can be paired with someone dancing the opposite role.

PLEASE NOTE: Registration is binding once payment has been made. In case of illness, notify us by email at Malmabuggarna@gmail.com no later than 24 hours before the event starts. A doctor’s certificate is required for a refund of the registration fee.

After Saturday’s course, we’ll have social dancing from 15:00 to 17:00 for anyone who wants to stay and practise the “moves” we learned during the course. If people would like social dancing after Sunday’s course too, we’re open to suggestions.

Slowbugg Rhythm & Fox & Rhythm – Nossebro 3.0

Our strongest memories are from Nossebro. As we write this, we get goosebumps thinking back to the previous events. Each time, the dancers have performed at an extraordinary level. Seeing people travel from all over Sweden, and some from Norway, to meet and enjoy dancing together is an enormous gift to us. Watching 60 people dance with such feeling, presence, technique and—above all—pure joy in dancing is something truly special. The fact that we now get to come back and experience this for a third time feels absolutely fantastic.

What can you expect this time?

This time, for the first time, we’ll step completely outside the usual framework. On Saturday, we’ll offer something entirely new in Slowbugg Rhythm. Our goal is to give followers even more opportunities in the dance, where the follower can offer the leader a turn. We’ll break with traditional patterns and create more room for both partners. The leaders will have an incredible amount of fun, and we promise a completely new feeling will emerge in the dance—a feeling that sparks enormous curiosity. You really don’t want to miss this!
