Enjoy a Christmas buffet inspired by tradition and the flavours of Bohuslän, along with selected Norwegian specialities, served in a warm and atmospheric setting right by the water. Combine classic Christmas favourites with salty sea breezes, sparkling winter evenings and the feeling of getting away from everyday life. From Friday 20 November to Saturday 12 December 2026, we serve our generous and delicious Christmas buffet every Friday and Saturday. After dinner, relax in our lobby on comfortable sofas, by the fire, with the bar and good company, or dance to our DJ in the restaurant. At TanumStrand, the Christmas buffet is about more than the food—it is about the atmosphere, tranquillity and magic that make every evening unique. Hotel packages are available with an overnight stay, Christmas buffet and breakfast, or you can enjoy the Christmas buffet without an overnight stay.
