Meeting Place at Loftet

An open meeting place for seniors with coffee, companionship and activities

Träffpunkten på Loftet is an open meeting place for seniors in Töreboda Municipality. Here, you can socialise, have coffee and take part in various activities, talks and themed events during the autumn. The meeting place is organised by Töreboda Municipality together with associations and other organisations.

We meet at Loftet, on the upper floor of the library, on Tuesdays from 2:00 to 4:00 pm. Coffee and refreshments are available for 30 SEK. For questions, contact the coordinator at 0506-182 38.

Programme for November and December

3 November – Association café with the Swedish Red Cross
Come and meet the Swedish Red Cross over coffee. We’ll hear more about their work and what they do locally. There will be an opportunity to ask questions, chat and have coffee together.

10 November – Book café with the library
The library will come to Loftet and host a book café. We’ll talk about books, reading and recommendations together, and finish with coffee.

17 November – Närhälsan talks about diabetes
Närhälsan is visiting Loftet again, this time to talk about diabetes. You’ll have the opportunity to ask questions, and we’ll finish with coffee.

24 November – Balance training with the health coach
You’re welcome to try a workout focused on balance. We’ll finish with coffee.

1 December – CPR with Hjärtsäkert Skaraborg
Hjärtsäkert Skaraborg will teach us cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and how to use a defibrillator. We’ll learn what to do in the event of cardiac arrest, and there will be an opportunity to ask questions.

8 December – Energy and climate advice, and a visit from a vision and hearing instructor
An energy and climate adviser will visit and offer tips and advice for everyday life. Our vision and hearing instructor will also be there to answer questions and explain what support is available.
