Reflections in Miniature

An exhibition filled with dollhouses. Creating miniatures is an ancient craft found in many cultures throughout history. In this “little” playful exhibition, we get a glimpse of Mette Johansen’s own collection of miniature worlds. Mette’s passion for miniatures began at an early age and led her to call herself a miniature set designer. In all her objects, whether traditional Lundby dollhouses or her own creations, stories, memories and small observations of the world around us are hidden. The miniatures serve as nostalgic time capsules, allowing us as visitors to experience Mette’s magical worlds. We also follow the history of Swedish design through Lundby’s traditional dollhouses and furnishings, from the 1940s to the present day. A warm welcome to this playful exhibition, which fascinates young and old alike!
