Art Exhibition at the Library

Art that champions women’s rights
Art brings the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women to life
Welcome to the library and the exhibition *Art brings the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women to life*, on display from 18 November to 6 December. Through UN Women Skaraborg, 16 artists have interpreted the UN Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women in works that prompt reflection on gender equality and the rights of women and girls around the world. The exhibition aims to raise awareness of the Convention and, at the same time, collect money for UN Women’s global work. After the exhibition’s final stop, the artworks will be auctioned to benefit the organisation’s work.
