Pokémon Fever

Pokémon takes over the museum! Pokémon Fever! 30 years of cards, games, collecting and hunting. Pokémon is turning 30, and Pokémon GO is turning 10—and interest is greater than it has been in a long time. Of course, we want to mark the occasion! Outside the museum there is a “Gym” where Pokémon GO players meet to play together, take part in raids and battle powerful Pokémon. But now Pokémon has moved into Tidaholms museum. The exhibition is filled with objects from the world of Pokémon—from everyday items to rarer finds. There are trading cards, boxes, games, soft toys, figures and much more. The objects have been loaned by dedicated collectors, including Penny Senpai. The exhibition runs until 20 February. Do you have a special Pokémon memory? Perhaps you remember your first card, the hunt for a rare Pokémon, or when Pokémon GO suddenly got everyone heading outdoors with a phone in hand?
