Join us for a Christmas-time coffee and pastry walk. During the holiday season, you can take our historic coffee-and-pastry walk, with a twist of Christmas flavours. In the Café Town of Alingsås, several cafés are tucked among cosy courtyards and pleasant shopping streets, decorated with sparkling Christmas lights during Christmas Lights in Alingsås. In this cosy setting, you can join a guide, visit cafés and sample classic Swedish pastries and delicious treats, now with Christmas flavours.

The guided coffee and pastry walk

During the walk, the guide tells you about Alingsås’s baking history, which began nearly 300 years ago, and how it contributed to the town’s development. You will also hear about the history of coffee and Sweden’s unique coffee-break culture while sampling some classic Swedish pastries and delicious treats. The cafés you visit are among the oldest in town, and several have also been recognised by White Guide.

Price: SEK 395 per person (excluding a SEK 10 service fee)

Terms of purchase

The Distance Contracts Act does not apply to purchases of event tickets. This means that you cannot cancel your purchase or exchange your ticket for another one.

Time and place

The Christmas-time coffee and pastry walk takes place on Saturdays, starting at Alingsås Museum, Bankgatan 3. Much of the walk is outdoors, so dress for the weather.
