Sunday at the Art Museum

Tours, workshops and creative activities for adults—every Sunday at 2:00 pm! A Sunday at the Art Museum opens up all kinds of dialogue between art and one another. Activities alternate between guided tours, creative workshops, poetry sessions and lectures connected to a theme at the museum, in several different languages. A warm welcome!

Dates: Sundays, August 23–December 27, 2026
Time: 2:00–3:00 pm (approx. 30–60 minutes)
Location: Art Museum, Level 1, Skövde Kulturhus
Other information: The program is for adults. No advance registration or prior knowledge is needed, and admission is always free. The program may be held in several different languages, depending on the museum host.

New to Sweden or curious about different languages? On Fridays and weekends, we focus on multilingualism. The Art Museum wants to be Skövde’s harbour—a place where new thoughts and ideas flow in—where you as a visitor can encounter art from all corners of the world and speak several different languages with us who work here.

Regular opening hours:
Monday–Thursday: 10 am–7 pm
Friday: 10 am–6 pm
Saturday–Sunday: 12 pm–4 pm
