Experience, explore or create art every Saturday from 13:00 to 14:00! Did you know that Konstmuseet is Skövde’s harbour? Exciting, right? Come to Skövde Kulturhus and we’ll show you why. Join us on an exciting journey through 2026 as the whole sea gets stormy at Konstmuseet! Can you create with shadows? How does the colour blue move? If the art in the museum started talking, what would you say to each other? How can you capture a feeling with colour? What is really hidden in the artworks?
During this hour, the focus is on children’s and young people’s experience of the art in the museum. We meet to create, learn more about the artworks or discover new worlds together with our museum staff, who also speak several languages. No two KIDS@Konstmuseet sessions are alike!
This spring, for example, you can try painting with flow, build ships and sail through art, solve clever riddles, find inspiration in Italian comic strips, discover shapes like the artist Elli Hemberg, or move like the colour blue—all inspired by our exhibitions or artists’ different creative processes!
Dates: Saturdays, 13 June–19 December (except 31 October and 14 November)
Time: 13:00–14:00
Place: Konstmuseet, floor 1, Skövde Kulturhus
Age: All ages; activities are adapted to the ages of visitors.
Other: Free admission and no advance registration required. No two KIDS sessions are alike, so you’ll create using different kinds of materials and techniques. Follow Konstmuseet on social media for the latest updates!

New to Sweden or curious about other languages? On Fridays and weekends, we focus on multilingualism. Konstmuseet wants to be Skövde’s harbour—a place where new thoughts and ideas flow in, where you as a visitor can encounter art from every corner of the world and speak several different languages with the people who work here.
