Werner Borgs Orchestra

Jazz, soul, schlager and world-class Swedish swing! “A Hip Afternoon” is a music performance celebrating Svante Thuresson’s unique range as an artist. This colourful concert offers a varied programme—from jazz and restaurant-show music to schlager and soul—all with great respect for the originals, but with fresh energy and musical joy. Expect a delightful mix of songs from across Svante’s career, whether your favourite is “Nygammal vals” or “Jag är hip”.

The concept is presented by Werner Borgs Orkester—a swinging band of professional musicians who bring Svante’s song catalogue to life in a new guise, with arrangements that both honour and renew it.
