Hole-ities

Knitted works – artistic creativity. The exhibitors have created freely around the theme HOLES. Nearly 20 works in various forms are on display, created by the 14 exhibitors in response to the theme HOLES. Several techniques are represented, as are a range of materials, including cotton, wool, leather and metal. The works were made with an open mind, freely and experimentally. Craftsmanship and perfection were not the primary concern. The focus is more on what the works convey and on the exhibitors’ personal interpretations of the theme. The forest was a major source of inspiration, as were biblical motifs. One exhibitor plays with the word HOLES, creating different images from it. Social community was also an inspiration and is shown in various ways, with the theme as a guiding principle. Heidi Design Warjagården is the curator of Hål-igheter. The opening takes place at the same time as the Stick- och spinnfest in Rydal.
