16:00–19:00 Nature memory game. Create your own memory game featuring animals and plants found in Malmö.

16:00–19:00 Quiz trail. Test your knowledge with a quiz walk about biodiversity. Answer sheets can be picked up at Kirsebergsbiblioteket, and the trail runs around Kirsebergs fritids- och kulturhus.

Adults
16:45–17:00 Kulturföreningen “Vi på Backarna” presents its activities over the years.

17:00–17:45 “Backa authors speak”. Pilka Herner has written the novels “Mellan stolarna” (2019) and “Samtal pågår” (2023), in which we follow psychotherapist Ingrid into the therapy room. Katrina af Wetterstedt talks about her book “Dofterna tar jag med mig”, which deals with exclusion, adoption, joy, scents and more. Susanne Sinclair has written novels, poetry and farces, including “Antag” (1996) and “Det hände sig i byn” (2023). She has also worked as a translator and publisher. They will sell and sign their books.

19:15–20:15 Paul Tenngart: “Nature under threat in literature today”. Paul Tenngart is an associate professor of literary studies at Lund University and has explored fiction’s relationship with climate change and biodiversity in several interdisciplinary projects. In this talk, he offers an overview of the cultural, social, linguistic and psychological functions of contemporary literature in an era of accelerating global warming and increasing plant blindness.

20:30–21:30 Celtic tunes and the secrets of the fairy folk. Concert with Erik Ask-Upmark. An enchanting melody sounds from the other side of the hill—but do you dare to follow it? With harp, singing and several different bagpipes, Erik Ask-Upmark invites you into the Celtic world of legend and its magical music.
