The African American Comedy Show

A comedy night full of loud laughter, witty discomfort, and unfiltered interaction with the audience. The two comedians come from two completely different worlds. One is from a country ruled by a dictator and shaken by unrest; the other is from Senegal, a country in West Africa. An evening full of awkward laughter and uncomfortable truths.

Comedians:
One comedian is from a lethally dangerous part of the world where, if the animals don’t kill you, people with guns certainly will: Texas. Ben McWilliams is an American living in Lithuania. His travels give him a peculiar perspective on how he views the world and interacts with the people around him.

Bass—a razor-sharp talent from Senegal, now living in France—takes the stage with a fearless stand-up performance that cuts through the absurdity of life in Europe. Get ready for jokes that hit fast and linger longer than fascism in Europe.

Format
Part one: Individual stand-up sets in which each comedian shares their chaotic life experiences.
Part two: A highly interactive performance with the audience (crowdwork). Drop your burning questions or anonymous comments into our bucket, and we’ll read them out and poke fun at them live on stage.
