Ricky-Tick Big Band & Julkinen Sana

The renewed Ricky-Tick Big Band & Julkinen Sana takes Kuopio by storm in March 2027! The big band, led by Valtteri Laurell Pöyhönen, retains its completely unique and irresistible sound, along with songs that creatively blend different genres, make an impact and get your feet moving. The veteran rappers Paleface and Tommy Lindgren are also still on board. The new addition is F, also known as Fanni Sjöholm, who is recognised as a skilled rapper and singer. This charismatic performer gives the group a fresh character with her distinctive style. This 20-piece ensemble, unique even on a global scale, swept across Finland like a storm in the 2010s, winning over music fans and critics alike. The group’s concerts have earned a reputation as electrifying events and have almost invariably sold out. Ricky-Tick Big Band was founded in 2010 and released its first album with the Julkinen Sana trio in 2013. After releasing three albums, Ricky-Tick Big Band & Julkinen Sana ceased operations in 2019. Now they’re back in action. Big action. This is a spectacle not to be missed!
