Teleks – Siivet 25th Anniversary Tour

TELEKS – SIIVET 25TH ANNIVERSARY TOUR

A quarter of a century ago, Finnish pop mainstay Teleks spread its wings. “Siivet” (Wings) won listeners’ hearts and began a journey filled with unforgettable songs, powerful emotions and countless encounters. In Teleks’ music, melancholy and hope go hand in hand. The songs tell of love, longing, departures and returns—of those moments when life feels most real.

“Thank you, dear friends, for taking the song ‘Siivet’ with you on your journey! It’s been 25 years since then, and on the one hand it feels like yesterday, while on the other it feels like a very long time ago! That song and the era it began mean a lot to us. Although we have a celebratory tour planned for the spring, looking back on the past, I promise that the best days are still ahead,” reflects the band’s lead singer and songwriter Pepe Johansson.

On the Siivet 25th Anniversary Tour, Teleks returns to the heart of its songs. The concerts will feature familiar classics, new melodies and stories from 25 years on the road. The set list includes all the most beloved Teleks classics, from “Tuulilasin nurkkaan,” “Hiljaa virtaa Vantaa” and “Kotimatkalla” to “Tyttö joka katsoo merelle.”

The band, now a four-piece, consists of Pepe, drummer Sampo Haapanen, bassist Janne Rajala and guitarist Tatu Kemppainen. The band’s latest album, “Tuuli joka tarttuu siipiin,” was released in 2026.
