Singer Robin Packalen, pianist Iiro Rantala and dancer Atte Kilpinen join forces for a unique concert! The evening is a celebration of three outstanding artists and a one-of-a-kind performance bringing together jazz, pop and dance. The concert features energetic solo piano works, stirring duets by Rantala and Packalen, and Kilpinen’s distinctive movement style, which crowns the performance.

“The idea of a show featuring a pop singer, a jazz pianist and a ballet dancer together may sound completely unexpected on paper, but when I asked Robin and Atte to join, they said ‘I do’ before I had even finished explaining the idea,” says Rantala.

Iiro Rantala and Robin Packalen began working together in 2014, when Iiro appeared as a guest soloist at Robin’s concert at the Olympic Stadium. Later, Robin appeared as a guest at Iiro’s concert series at the Finnish National Opera, and two titans from Turku met: “Bohemian Rhapsody,” performed together by Matti Salminen and Robin, made a deep impression. Iiro and Robin’s collaboration grew closer with their joint song “Benefits” in 2021.

Atte Kilpinen and Iiro Rantala began working together on a new dance performance at Aleksanterin Teatteri two years ago. Iiro says: “Of course I had seen Atte dance before, but performing on the same stage made it clear that Atte is an exceptionally impressive dancer. He also has a wonderful ability to adapt to different situations and styles!”

Robin Packalen has been one of Finland’s biggest pop stars throughout his 12-year career. His music has been streamed more than 560 million times in total, and five of his seven studio albums have debuted at number one on Finland’s Official Albums Chart. Each of the albums has also achieved multi-platinum sales.

Composer and pianist Iiro Rantala is probably Finland’s best-known jazz musician internationally. After the group Trio Töykeät rose to international fame in the 1990s, he continued his distinguished career with solo concerts and work in classical music, plays, musicals and, most recently, opera composition.

Dancer Atte Kilpinen is a principal dancer with the Finnish National Ballet, a dance artist and a choreographer. During his career, he has worked with several prominent groups and institutions, including Hamburg Ballet, Tero Saarinen Company and Susanna Leinonen Company, as well as the Finnish National Ballet. His choreographies *Kohtauksia punaisesta Jumalasta* and *Kreutzersonaatti* have been performed widely across Finland.

Estimated duration: 1 hour 40 minutes, including an interval.
