SARA – Ì heiminum Tour 2027

Sara, a pioneering Finnish alternative metal band, will release its 11th album in January and then embark on an extensive club tour across Finland. The new album, due out on 22 January 2027, is titled Ì heiminum, which is Icelandic for “In the World”. Its first single, Harhailija, is now available on streaming services.

Founded in Kaskinen in 1995, Sara has followed a uniquely distinctive path in the Finnish music scene. The band is known for its visually striking live shows, catchy riffs, and the distinctive, sensitive vocals of singer-guitarist Joa Korhonen.

Sara’s previous album, Hallava, cemented the band’s return to the top of Finnish alternative metal. The album went straight to the top of Finland’s physical album chart and was named Album of the Year 2025 by the critics of both Soundi and Inferno. Featuring tracks including Anhedonia and Valtameri ovella, the album also earned the band an Emma nomination in the Metal Album of the Year category.

The album release tour was the band’s most successful to date, featuring several sold-out rock clubs and major festivals, and culminating in Sara’s 30th-anniversary show at the sold-out Tavara-asema in Tampere in November 2025.
