Tres Pistoleros and Doña Kay

Tres Pistoleros e Doña Kay is a Turku-based blues-rock band made up of seasoned musicians. On 31 May 2025, the band released the album “On Another Level” at Teatro in Turku’s Logomo. The producers were Hannu Leidén, known from Havana Black, and Eero Kaukomies (Helsinki Rock Productions). The album was chosen as Crossroads Blues Radio’s album of the week. The band began as a trio during the COVID lockdown. In autumn 2023, the band began looking for a new singer and settled on Katri. With the new lineup, they went almost straight into the studio to record the first tracks for the album. Between recording sessions, they have also found time to perform live, and the feedback has been consistently positive. Their shows, consisting of original songs and carefully selected covers, have been very well received. Music videos have also been released for four original songs—“Set up for disaster,” “Jaded like me,” “These forever changes,” and “Whiskey woman”—and have attracted a good number of viewers. They can be watched on YouTube. The releases have already received radio airplay, including abroad.
