The Most Beautiful Christmas Songs

Kuopio City Orchestra, with Atso Almila conducting, vocal ensembles Jyvä Ensemble and NEÅ, and the award-winning vocal ensembles Jyvä Ensemble and NEÅ from the Tampere Vocal Music Festival ensemble competition, will lead the audience through beloved Christmas classics. Traditional Finnish melodies bring the Christmas spirit. The programme includes orchestral pieces, numbers featuring the singers and orchestra together, a cappella performances by the vocal ensembles, and sing-alongs where the audience can join in or simply enjoy the sense of community. This year, you can enjoy the Christmas music either at the shorter concert starting at 3 p.m. or at the longer concert starting at 6 p.m. Organised by Kuopio City Orchestra. Duration approximately one hour, no interval. Tickets: €15.60 / €10.60 for children under 16 and students.
