The Setämies show asks exactly the questions nobody wants to hear and nobody is interested in! On the upcoming tour, the hall will ring out night after night with exuberant laughter that doesn’t set you free—it makes you anxious! Laughter that disguises trauma as a joke! See up close a man who is just like your dad! A harsh yet self-pitying despot!

The Setämies performance teaches the audience to bottle up their feelings deep inside. When you suffer, you suffer alone! So said the ancient Greeks, and how right they were! There’s no use crying over spilt milk! Not even on the stock market!

During the show, you’ll look deep into Setämies’s soul. And although for a moment everything may seem dark and hopeless, eventually the audience will discover the bright core behind it all: intense bitterness. Finland was built on it, and it’s what we can leave as an inheritance to our children! We don’t have any money to give them anyway. We’ve made sure of that!

The Setämies show supports Finland’s young people and firmly believes that they should be guaranteed the same right to be disappointed in life as previous generations. That’s final! If they don’t believe it, they can go to work!
