Jape Grönroos Stand-Up Show

Jape Grönroos, a seasoned stalwart of Finnish stand-up—an unrotting old tree, even as the climate warms and trends change. Jape has been treading the boards since 2003, and he’s not here to be refined. As the producer put it succinctly: “When Jape pulls on his leather jacket, anything can happen. That’s when things are said exactly as they are, and no one is safe—least of all Jape himself.” Things are said plainly. Sometimes incorrectly. Often too loudly. And always in a way that leaves someone wondering on the way home: “Was he allowed to say that?” Expect honest, unvarnished and indecent comedy from a man who knows exactly which strings to pull with an audience. Opening the evening with superpowers: Amir Amokrane. Original Sokos Hotel Puijonsarvi, Kuopio, Saturday 5 December 2026 at 18:00.
