Welcome to enjoy as Oliver takes over the Hoppari stage with magnificent melodies, powerful choruses and stories drawn from life! The rock band Oliver’s sound springs from American and British guitar rock, combined with the traditions of Finnish rock. Since releasing their debut album in 2009, the band has become known as an energetic live act, whose shows offer a sense of togetherness, the exhilaration of live music and stories that touch the heart. Oliver writes the lyrics to its songs together with poet Hanna Katajarinne. The band often reflects on life’s challenges and successes in its lyrics. They know little about hate, but much more about love and the early-morning wind. Oliver is a four-piece band that has released six studio albums and played over a thousand gigs.
