The Adventures of Nils

Nils, a boy who has been shrunk to the size of a thumb, travels on the back of the tame goose Martti alongside a flock of wild geese across Sweden. As the journey unfolds, Nils befriends the geese and learns to respect animals and the beautiful natural world around him. Swedish author Selma Lagerlöf (1858–1940) originally intended this book as a schoolbook for children in Sweden, but over the years it has become a beloved fairy-tale classic for generations.
