Iikka Kivi – Protest Laughter Stand-Up Show

When times are bleak, laughter is an act of defiance! Stand-up comedian Iikka Kivi’s new full-length comedy special, Protestinauru, looks for a funnier tomorrow for us all. In this combatively easygoing performance, Kivi makes his way through the terrain between a midlife crisis and global crises: sometimes it’s hard to worry about the destruction of coral reefs while you’re in the middle of a bladder examination. Still, we won’t give in—not to aging or to the world going up in flames. We lift our heads and make a fist our friend. Protestinauru is an unstoppable series of verbal flying kicks that wakes you up, makes you laugh, and inspires you! Against the present, for our future!
