Children's Weekend: Joyful flag raising (Day care centres, 1st-2nd grades and all) (in Finnish)

Daycare and school groups as well as all residents are warmly welcome to the joyful flag-raising event of the Children's Cultural Centre Aurora to celebrate World Children’s Day!
The fast-paced characters of Theatre Hevosenkenkä will convey a speech to the event and bring joy and surprises through improvisation. The brass players of the Espoo Music Institute will raise the festive atmosphere and lead the audience to a joint flag-raising.
After the event, you can hear the sound work "Kuule minua", in which we hear the thoughts of children from Espoo and from all around Finland on the theme of the day.
Children's Rights Week will be celebrated from 16 to 22 November 2026. This year's theme, "Every child is valuable", reminds us of every child's right to be seen, heard and appreciated.
