Lāčplēsis Day Themed Afternoon: “Remember This Most Sacred Thing: … You Are Latvia!”

On Lāčplēsis Day, 11 November, at 16:00, the Children’s Library “Zīlīte,” a branch of the Latgale Central Library (58 Mihoelsa Street, Daugavpils), invites everyone interested to a themed afternoon, “Remember This Most Sacred Thing: … You Are Latvia!” During the event, visitors can get creative by colouring a specially designed Lāčplēsis book and take part in an interactive activity to learn about Latvia’s symbols and test their knowledge of them. The themed afternoon offers an engaging and creative way to explore Latvia’s values and history, honour the memory of those who fought for freedom, and strengthen a sense of belonging to one’s country.
