Viljandi Guitar Festival continues its tradition of special concerts, which began in spring, and invites audiences to its first-ever winter concert! On 27 November, Jaak Tuksam and Ain Agan will take the candlelit stage at Schloss Fellin. After the concert, guests will have the opportunity to enjoy dinner at the Schloss Fellin restaurant.
Jaak Tuksam has been writing and performing songs for over 30 years. The wider public became familiar with his music through the 1999 album “Meelega” and its recording and launch concerts. In writing his songs, Tuksam has drawn inspiration above all from the poetry of Ernst Enno, Heiti Talvik and Jaan Kaplinski.
Ain Agan is one of Estonia’s most active and creative jazz guitarists, an ensemble partner to many acclaimed musicians, and the founder of several groups. His supple, soulful guitar playing can be heard on more than 150 recordings, including his albums “Now I Know” (2016), “AganagA” (2019) and “New Moon” (2024). Ain Agan is also the founder and artistic director of Viljandi Guitar Festival.
In 2025, Jaak Tuksam and Ain Agan released their joint album “Tassa tuulõkõnõ puhk”.
After the concert, those who wish can enjoy a three-course dinner at the Schloss Fellin restaurant—three carefully selected culinary journeys featuring fresh, vibrant hamachi, delicate beef tenderloin, and an elegant pairing of blackcurrant and white chocolate. An evening where music sets the mood, flavours awaken the senses, and time seems to stand still for a moment:
