Workshop for Parents: “A Child Resilient to Bullying: Where Do They Grow?”

How can you maintain a trusting relationship with your child that helps them stand up to bullying? Adults in the Viimsi community and parents are invited to take part in a practical workshop. We’ll discuss what helps a child become resilient to bullying and how everyday communication with your child can help protect them.

• What are the four pillars of support for a child resilient to bullying?
• What prevents a child from talking to an adult about their worries?
• How can active listening, reflection and “I” statements help maintain an open relationship with your child?
• How do our own attitudes and actions affect a child’s resilience to bullying?
