Based on Marko Leino’s novel of the same name, this Christmas play tells the story of Nikolas and his little sister Aada. When Aada disappears on a stormy night, Nikolas is left longing for her. He keeps the memory of his sister and a promise in his heart, and they stay with him through the long years. With each Christmas, a new story grows around him—full of secrets, unexpected encounters, and small miracles. Despite the hardships, Nikolas finds friends by his side and discovers how much joy doing good for others can bring. Thus a Christmas tradition is born, rooted in a brother’s love and hope.
