Estonian-Latvian Basketball League: Tartu Ülikool Maks & Moorits vs Valmiera Glass VIA

On 7 November, last season’s finalists Tartu Ülikool Maks & Moorits and Valmiera Glass VIA face each other in the Estonian-Latvian Basketball League. Valmiera’s roster this year also includes American point guard Bryce McBride, familiar to Tartu fans and a favourite among local supporters. The game is part of the Estonian-Latvian Basketball League Rivalry Week, which aims to bring matchups between basketball clubs from the two neighbouring countries into the spotlight more than usual, increase interest in the league, and highlight the friendly yet sporting rivalry between Estonia and Latvia. The fan shop and cafés will be open at the game. Marko Kiljak will host the evening. Please note: the game starts an hour earlier than usual, at 18:00! Read more
