Ene-Liis Semper’s “Heptagon” raises the question of what mythological memory means to contemporary people. The creators juxtapose and contrast creation myths with everyday life today. On stage is a group of people of different ages, all seeking inner balance despite stress and an ever-growing network of social connections. The source material includes myths from various peoples, works by Hasso Krull, Byung-Chul Han’s books “The Burnout Society” and “The Transparency Society,” Estonian incantations, and more. Live music plays an important role, with percussionist Vambola Krigul performing. Author, director and artist: Ene-Liis Semper. Sound designers: Jakob Juhkam, Vambola Krigul. Lighting designer: Siim Reispass. Dramaturg: Eero Epner. Consultant: Hasso Krull.
