London, December 1888. A poor, unknown artist appears at 221B Baker Street, a bloody bandage wrapped around his head, and asks Sherlock Holmes for help. The group must also confront a villain who unexpectedly emerges from Holmes’s past and interferes with the investigation. Holmes, Dr. Watson and Holmes’s lover Irene Adler become entangled in a diabolical conspiracy. A famous Irish-born dandy, socialite and writer joins the team to help with the investigation.

This fast-paced comedy blends the classic Victorian crime novel with witty dialogue and historical parodies. It is the first part of David MacGregor’s “Sherlock Holmes Trilogy”. The play was first staged in 2018 by the Purple Rose Theatre Company in Michigan. The Estonian premiere is on 14.01.2027 at Viljandi Seasaare Theatre.
