How can your startup get international media coverage, attract investors’ attention and become known beyond Estonia? Where should you start when approaching foreign journalists, and how can media coverage support your company’s growth? Your company doesn’t need an office in London to reach the British media. British newspapers, TV channels and online publications can help Estonian startups reach audiences in the US and other English-speaking markets too. Media coverage can boost credibility with investors and decision-makers, attract the attention of international conference organisers, and make your company easier to find in ChatGPT and other AI-powered search environments.

At the Tehnopol Accelerator coffee morning on 25 November, we’ll be joined by Benjamin Webb, founder and CEO of London-based communications agency Deliberate PR. Benjamin will share his experience working with international media, explain how to approach journalists and use different media channels, and offer practical advice on raising your company’s international profile.

Meet the speaker: Benjamin Webb, founder and CEO of Deliberate PR

Since 2012, Benjamin has helped Nordic and European startups and scale-ups reach international audiences through the British media. His London-based agency, Deliberate PR, employs 30 people and works with companies in sectors including defence technology, artificial intelligence, green technology, financial technology, deep tech, cybersecurity and hardware. Deliberate PR’s clients include Kahoot!, Babbel, Nordic Air Defence, Node.VC and Paebbl. In late 2025, the agency helped its first Estonian client, MyDello, secure international media coverage of its funding announcement.
